Activity, manipulation drive, and strength in monkeys subjected to low-level irradiation.

Abstract
Tests of general activity, manipulation and weight-pulling in monkeys subjected to radiation varying from 200 r. to 400 r. disclosed decreases in activity, most striking in the 400 r. animals. Other activities tested also showed irradiation effects. "The results lend support to the hypothesis that lightly motivated behavior is more susceptible to stress than is highly motivated behavior.".
