2 experiments tested predictions from a mathematical model derived from the Burke-Estes stimulus sampling theory. The 1st, an experiment concerned with simple stimulus generalization, yielded estimates of parameters which were used to generate theoretical curves for the 2nd, concerned with summated stimulus generalization.
