Abstract
In December, 1965 you published a paper reporting two cases of benign pleural lesions simulating “coin-lesion” of the lung (Galatius-Jensen and Halkier). The authors pointed out that scant attention appears to have been paid to the diagnostic difficulties that may be caused by these pleural thickenings in the evaluation of the radiograph of the chest. The aetiology and pathogenesis of these pleural thickenings or pleural “hyalo-serositis”, as they were called, was said to be unknown. Keywords
