Computed Tomography of the Skull Base

Abstract
By applying a wide window to computed tomography (CT) images, excellent detail of the human skull base was obtained. This technique was applied to malignant lesions involving the sellar, parasellar, sphenoid wing, petrous bone, clival, foramen magnum regions and pituitary adenomas. CT had an additional dimension in the delineation of pathology.
