Modification of anthracite sorption properties by thermooxidation with air Optimization of the process

Abstract
The effects of oxidation temperature, time of oxidation and air flow rate on some basic physico-chemical characteristics of oxidized anthracite (adsorption capacity towards iodine and methylene blue, ion-exchange ability), prepared by thermooxidation with air, are studied using the method of experimental design. The oxidation process is optimized with respect to the selected optimization parameters.
