Abstract
The mean time to system failure (MTSF) for a 2-out-of-n system with repair is intuitively derived. The improvement factor, the ratio of the MTSF for a 2 out of n system with repair to that system without repair, is evaluated and its asymptotic behavior is studied.Keywords
