Abstract
A dissolution test is described for tablets of digoxin B.P. Dissolution profiles are reported for 11 brands of digoxin tablets available in Gt. Britain in 1972. Good correlations exist between both the area under the serum concentration/time curve from 0–6 h and (1) the amount of digoxin dissolved in 1 h, (2) the reciprocal of the time for 50% dissolution. Keywords
