Neutron electric dipole moment in lattice QCD

Abstract

We present an exploratory computation of the electric dipole moment of the neutron induced by a CP-violating θ term in the QCD Lagrangian in the framework of quenched lattice QCD. We find $d_N$≊-4×${10}^{\mathrm{-}14}$θe cm.
