Abstract
In recent years small radio transmitters have been developed that can transmit physiological information from within the human body. The present units are small enough to be introduced into the bladder, or to be swallowed without unpleasant sensation. A summary of these recent developments is given along with some of the present lines of investigation toward future forms. A representative unit is described in some detail. Keywords
