Abstract
In most of the cavities investigated, evaporation from the soil into the atmosphere was going on in June and July although very little rain had fallen for several mo. Even 1-2 ft. from the surface of a rough wall the absolute humidity is higher than it is outside. The differences in saturation deficiency between the air in the spaces in the wall and that outside are sufficient to be of considerable biological importance. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
