Abstract
As a prerequisite for the evaluation of third‐ and fourth‐order perturbation energies of a rotating‐vibrating polyatomic molecule, we derive here an appropriate Schroedinger equation and give a preliminary discussion of a useful contact transformation of the Hamiltonian.Keywords
