Sex Pheromone of the European Leafroller, Archips rosanus 1 , 2

Abstract
Two pheromone components, cis-11-tetradecenyl acetate and cis -11-tetradecen-1-ol, were identified from ♀ Archips rosanus (L.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) abdominal tips. These compounds were found in a 90:10 ratio of acetate:alcohol in the females, although wild males in British Columbia and the Netherlands were attracted to a broad range of ratios. Neither compound alone was attractive.
