Abstract
Taxonomic and distributional notes are given for the following marine algae, which are reported for the first time from the central tropical Pacific Ocean:Dermocorynus occident alis, Ceramium paniculatum, C. hamatis pinum, Spirocladia barodensis, Symphyocladia marchantioides, Lophosiphonia cristata, L. prostrata, Exophyllum wentii. The ranges ofRalfsia pangoensis andMurrayella peridados are extended.Falkenbergiella caespitosa is shown to be referable toPolysiphonia caespitosa (Pocock) comb. nov.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
