Abstract
A shuttle cloning vector (pIL550) has been constructed which can be mobilized from Escherichia coli to Campylobacter jejuni, Campylobacter coli, and Campylobacter fetus by complementation with the transfer functions of an IncP plasmid in trans, with a frequency of 10(-4) transconjugants per donor. We also present evidence for a DNA modification system in C. jejuni. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
