Thermochemistry of transition-metal complexes. Part IV. M(pyrazine)2Cl2 complexes, where M = Mn, Fe, Co, or Ni

Abstract

The heats of thermal decomposition of M(pyrazine)₂Cl₂, where M = Mn, Fe, Co, or Ni, together with the complexes Ni(pyrazine)₂Br₂, Co(methylpyrazine)₄Cl₂, Co(2,5-dimethylpyrazine)Cl₂, Ni(2,5-dimethylpyrazine)Cl₂, and Co(pyrimidine)₂Br₂ have been measured by use of a differential scanning calorimeter. Comment is made on the heats obtained.
