Abstract
Ca and P retention in rats on Steenbock''s rachitogenic diet is decreased by excessive doses of irradiated ergosterol. The urinary Ca is increased. Both the urinary and the fecal P is increased. With a Ca-free diet, the P metabolism is not affected, but there is a definite elimination of Ca by the kidney. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
