Abstract
An account is given of the anatomy of the stem of Lepidophloios kilpatrickensis sp.nov. and the stem and leaves of Lepidodendron solenofolium sp. nov., which were obtained from a bed of Lower Carboniferous age in the Kilpatrick Hills, Dunbartonshire. Both species are compared with other lepidendroid species of similar age. A brief description is included of stems and leaves of Lepidodendron brevifolium Will, from the same bed.
