Abstract
The thiamine requirement of normal infants was determined by means of a urinary excretion procedure which involved determining the intake that would maintain urinary excretion at the upper limit of the zone of minimum excretion. The requirement varied between 0.14 mg and 0.20 mg per day in the 7 subjects studied.Keywords
