Spin Effects in the Scattering of Protons from Light Nuclei and a Possible Test for the Existence of Regge Cuts

Abstract
An analysis is made of the effects of spin dependence in proton-deuteron and protonhelium scattering. Using spin-dependent amplitudes consistent with experiments we are able to simultaneously fit both and scattering. The above result may constitute a test for Regge cuts in the scattering amplitude.
