Abstract
Some magnetic materials exhibit such a geometric structure that at least two different and finite coupling parameters are needed for long range order to be possible. The sublattice magnetizations and parallel susceptibilities of such a system are here considered with a special view to cases where one of the coupling parameters is much stronger than the other. The simple molecular field approximation is found to be invalid, even qualitatively, for such a case. Keywords
