Abstract
In rats treated with ganglion-blocking agents, potentiation of the pressor response to renin appears from 4 to 24 hr after bilateral nephrectomy has been performed, but the response to norepinephrine and angiotensin remains unchanged. Further studies support the theory that there is an activator or an inhibitor which influences the renin-angiotensinogen reaction. Production or storage of such a substance seems to be in the renal tissue. Keywords
