Surgical Treatment of CraniophayngiomaRadical Removal by the Transantrosphenoidal Approach

Abstract
An account is given of three cases of craniopharyngioma, in which radical removal was performed with the transantrosphenoidal technique. The results were entirely satisfactory from the clinical point of view, and the uneventful postoperative course was striking. It is pointed out that, when assessing the surgical possibilities in such cases, the transsphenoidal approach should be borne in mind. In many cases it is unquestionably the method of choice, and in certain cases may even be the only practicable one.
