Abstract
The problem of combined injuries of the peripheral nerves and fractures of the long bones is covered from etiologic and pathogenetic points of view. Principles regarding rates and times of recovery and methods of following rate of recovery are outlined. Correct diagnosis is important so that adequate treatment, employing the principles outlined, may follow. Keywords
