Abstract
The dose-response relationship for a long-acting thyroid stimulator (L.A.T.S.) is described, up to responses of 1,000. L.A.T.S. is a thyroid-stimulating material found in the blood of thyrotoxic patients. Its dose-response relationship differs from that of standard thyrotropin in a manner compatible with the concept that its action is similar to that of a low concentration of standard thyrotropin maintained for a long time.
