Seniority four admixtures in the low-lying O+ states of even-mass tin and lead nuclei

Abstract
New statistical measures of symmetry breaking are used to evaluate the total seniority four admixtures in the low-lying O+ states of even-mass tin and lead nuclei. This approach is based on the centroid energies and partial widths of fixed total seniority and parity spectral distributions. Some seniority four states are found to be surprisingly low. However the ground state is always a very pure seniority zero state
