Anisotropy of Triplet Exciton Diffusion in Anthracene

Abstract
Consistent with theoretical predictions, the triplet-exciton-diffusion tensor is found to be strongly anisotropic in anthracene crystals at room temperature. Triplet migration in anthracene is essentially two-dimensional, restricted to the plane.
