Abstract
In addition to cranial arteritis, the 3 other variants of giant cell arteritis may also lead to neurological symptoms: polymyalgia rheumatica, occult giant cell arteritis and inflammatory aortic arch syndrome of elderly persons. This survey discussed the nosological, clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of giant cell arteritis and its subgroups on the basis of experience with > 100 cases. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
