Abstract
Recent stopping-power data of solids with atomic number ranging from 13 to 79 for ions ranging in atomic number from 1 to 9 and in velocity from to are analyzed in terms of effects and effective ion charges. They are found to be consistent with current theory. High-velocity forms of the -proportional stopping-power contributions are calculated by the method of moment integrals.
