Abstract
Detection of the six components of a $K$-doubling transition in small magnetic fields is reported for the free radical DCO in the gas phase between 9.7 and 10.0 GHz. The spectrum is analysed in terms of the theory presented by Bowater, Brown & Carrington (1973) and the resulting molecular parameters are compared with those obtained from solid state studies. Complementary studies by Saito (1972) allow estimates of eight independent molecular parameters to be made. Keywords
