Fission of 232Th by Reactor Neutrons: Fission Yields of some Mass-Chains

Abstract

Summary: The cumulative yields of the mass-chains ending at ⁹⁰Sr, ¹³¹I, ¹³⁷Cs, ¹⁴⁰Ba, ¹⁴¹Ce, and ¹⁴⁴Ce in the fast neutron-induced fission of ²³²Th have been measured, using radiochemical techniques and, whenever possible, γ-spectrum-analysis.
