An electrocardiographic study on the effect of atropine-neostigmine mixture was carried out on thirty-one curarized patients under nitrous oxide and oxygen anaesthesia. Adequate oxygenation and carbon dioxide elimination was ensured during reversal and injection of a mixture of atropine (0.02 mg/kg) and neostigmine (0.05 mg/kg) caused no cardiac hazards.
