Abstract
The composition of the plasma lipids of fat-deficient rats is compared with that of normal fed and fasted animals using a recently developed method for chromatographic separation of lipid fractions on a silicic acid column. Total plasma lipid is about 64% of normal, but the % distr. of the various classes at this lower level is not significantly different, with the possible exception of phospholipid, which is relatively higher. Keywords
