Nuclear Isomerism in Selenium and Krypton

Abstract
A study has been made of the radioactive chain Se83Br83Kr*83. The last member is an isomer of the stable krypton of mass 83. An isomeric pair Se79or81 has been found and the two genetically related nuclear isomers have been separated chemically. Kr83 and Br83 are produced by the fission of uranium and thorium as well as by the bombardment of selenium with deuterons and slow neutrons.
