Abstract
ENDOR measurements have been made on single crystals of magnesium oxide enriched in 17O and containing Mn2+, Fe3+ and Cr3+ impurities. The transferred hyperfine interactions and quadrupole interactions of nearest-neighbour 17O ligand nuclei have been interpreted in terms of fractions of unpaired spin on the ligand. Keywords
