Thermal Conductivity of Ammonia—Diethyl Ether Mixtures at Different Temperatures

Abstract
The thermal conductivity of binary polar gas mixtures NH3–(C2H5)2O has been measured over the temperature range 80°—200°C for various compositions by applying the ``thick‐wire variant'' of the hot‐wire method. The data obtained have been interpreted qualitatively with the help of Hirschfelder's theory based on local chemical equilibrium assumptions. A better agreement is observed when unlike interaction parameters obtained from binary diffusion data are utilized.
