Abstract
The infrared spectrum of sulfuryl fluoride has been investigated between 240 cm−1 and 4000 cm−1 with a prism spectrometer. Seven of the nine fundamentals have been observed and assigned to their appropriate symmetry species. Ten additional bands have been assigned as combinations or overtones. A partial force constant calculation has been made. Keywords
