Abstract
By enlarging the number of fermion species and sclar fields, we generalize the Yukawa-Higgs sector of the standard model. We solve this model to leading order in a expansion. We study the behavior of the fermion mass and the width when they are below the cutoff scale of the theory. Other Yukawa-Higgs models with different chiral structures are also studied. We find that the mass of the fermion is finite and is below the cutoff scale for any finite on-shell Yukawa coupling in the chiral models.
