Abstract
The authors used mice intraven. inoculated with 0.1 mg. of tubercle bacilli as the test animals, the expt. being terminated at 28 days, and results judged from the extent of the tuberculosis in treated and control groups. Comparatively little effect was seen in a group receiving 300 U. of streptomycin daily, while in the group receiving 3,000 U. daily there was found to be a significantly lower amt. of tuberculosis in the treated animals than in the controls, as illustrated both by tables and by photographs.
