Secondary Amyloidosis in Ocular Leprosy

Abstract
Deposits of amyloid were found in three eyes obtained postmortem from leprosy patients who had died in uremia from renal amyloidosis. We believe this may be the first report of ocular involvement in secondary amyloidosis associated with leprosy.
