Notes on Graphic Biometric Comparison of Samples

Abstract

There is no fundamental disagreement between the views of Hubbs and Perlmutter and of Roe and Simpson on the validity under specified conditions of the Dice-Leraas method of graphic comparison of samples. Use in this method of meaningful estimates of population range are suggested to replace the M [plus or minus] 1 level which offers little of interpretative value to the average zoologist.
