On the Angular Distribution of Cyclotron Radiation from a Hot Plasma

Abstract

It is shown that the formula of Drummond and Rosenbluth for the angular dependence of the absorption coefficient of cyclotron radiation from a hot plasma is too crude, and hence the numerical estimates based on this formula for the total radiation from a plasma layer turn out to be less valid than the previous results obtained by the present author.
