Abstract
In this report we describe a computerized adiabatic calorimetric system operating in the temperature range 3–300 K, with an accuracy better than 0.3%, limited mainly by the accuracy of thermometer calibration. The calorimetric system measures and calculates the specific heat as a function of the temperature, which in turn is obtained from computer‐stored thermometer calibration curves. The system is able to work in a discrete or a continuous heating mode and provides the computed results during the measurements. The cryostat, the adiabatic shield control, the electronic system, and the software logic are described. Keywords
