Secretory IgA Antibodies in the Urethral Exudate of Men with Uncomplicated Urethritis due to Neisseria gonorrhoeae

Abstract
Antibodies to Neisseria gonorrhoeae were detected in the urethral exudates of 29 of 35 men with uncomplicated gonococcal urethritis. A large fraction of this local antibody was secretory IgA.
