The Estimation of Small Concentrations of Deuterium Oxide in Water by the Falling Drop Method

Abstract
The falling drop method for the measurement of small concentrations of D2O has been studied with the object of defining a set of conditions which would give the best results in practice. A particular study has been made of the design of the tube which holds the dropping medium and of the control of temperature. In the range of concentration 01 to 0.2 g% D2O, the accuracy achieved is of the order of + 0.0015 g% D2O.
