Abstract
The course of a case of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) was studied over 2 yr. The comparative histological, immunological and ultrastructural studies showed the existence of characteristic granulations within the macrophages of the granuloma. Evidently, direct immunofluorescence is a specific method for diagnosing cutaneous LGV. Evidently, different chlamydial bodies exist inside the granuloma. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
