Abstract
Platelet physiology, defective platelet aggregation studies and the possible pharmacological effects of oral tolbutamide, insulin and aspirin or platelet aggregation were discussed. Platelet factor 3 (PF-3) and PF-4, platelet adhesion and platelet survival, the metabolic alterations of prostaglandins and their precursor arachidonic acid and the von Willebrand Factor were discussed as important consideration in the vascular complications of diabetes. This publication has 23 references indexed in Scilit:
