Abstract

Deshielding of 350–700 p.p.m. is reported for nitrogen in strongly bent nitrosyl groups (∠MNO ca. 120°) in complexes of Rh or Co, compared with linear nitrosyl groups in complexes of Fe, Co, Ru, and other transition metals.
