Hypnosis in the Treatment of Children

Abstract

A brief history and survey of the literature of the use of hypnosis with children precedes a discussion of various techniques used by the author. Emphasis is on the internal ability of the child to explore its difficulties, given an understanding, empathetic therapeutic environment.
