1. The process of induction after sucrose treatment is accompanied by an increased uptake of Na²² as compared with the uptake by untreated controls. 2. The process of induction by lithium chloride treatment results in an increased uptake of Na²² during the lithium treatment. 3. The process of induction after lithium treatment is accompanied by an increased uptake of Na²² as compared with untreated controls.
