ESTROGENIC SUBSTANCES : I. APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR PREPARATION OF STABLE EXTRACTS FROM NATURAL SOURCES

Abstract

There are described 2 all-glass continuous extractors of the impluviation type designed for the extraction of liquids and solids respectively, with a diagram of each. Detailed methods of extraction are given. The steps of the preliminary assay of the extracts are indicated. Two methods of purification of the crude extracts are discussed. Periodic assays are presented in tabular form showing the stability of the purified extracts.
